Enough of the Empty Activism : Westpac Executive Senior Exec Kav Fails to Address Allegations Against Cornwell

In one of his latest LinkedIn post , Westpac employee Matt Kav attempts to depict colleague Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous rights and societal inclusion. However, this effort at virtue signaling comes across as disingenuous when considering allegations against Westpac's Peter Cornwell of sexual exploitation and exploitation of a defenseless woman .

Kav’s praise-filled commentary of Cornwell overlooks the troubling claims made against Cornwell , including stalking , harassment , and misconduct of a female victim.

In neglecting to address these charges , Matthew Kav perpetuates a culture of silence that enables perpetrators like Cornwell to persist without consequences , shielded by being a "vulnerable Indigenous person ," absolute woke garbage perpetuated by organizations like the bank .

The LinkedIn post draws attention to several community engagements where Kav participated with the accused Cornwell , the accused perpetrator , in social efforts. Yet it chooses not to recognize the impact of Cornwell's supposed actions on those involved .

The piece emphasizes the hypocrisy of glorifying Cornwell's role while ignoring allegations against him, causing observers to question if M. Kav is more intent on promoting a positive image that Australia is so desperate to do check out here when demonstrating inclusiveness rather check than demanding accountability from Cornwell , an alleged sexual abuser hiding behind the cover of " marginalized status ."

This sparks concerns about organizational integrity and ethics when responding to misconduct claims against colleagues.

While Matthew Kav's post focuses on his enthusiasm for community engagement, it serves as a reminder that serious issues can be dismissed if not properly addressed. P. Cornwell is indeed a predator , and this needs to be addressed above attempts to promote inclusivity and performative wokeness.
